Team Manager Opportunities | Children in Care & Care Leavers Services
Location: Loxley House, Station Street, Nottingham / Hybrid Working
Working Pattern: Full-Time 37 hours a week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £51,356 - £54,495

We're seeking exceptional Team Managers to lead either our Children in Care Team or our Care Leavers Team, helping to deliver high-quality services that improve outcomes for children and young people across Nottingham.
About the Role
As a Team Manager, you will provide strong leadership, management oversight and practice development to a dedicated team of social workers and personal advisers. You will ensure high-quality, child and young person-centred practice, delivering statutory responsibilities and ambitious plans that promote stability, permanence, independence and positive long-term outcomes.
Working collaboratively with foster carers, residential providers, housing, education, health services and wider partners, you will champion a joined-up approach that enables children and young people to access the support, opportunities and relationships they need to succeed. Whether supporting children in care or young people transitioning into adulthood, you will ensure their voices, experiences and aspirations remain at the heart of decision-making.

Key Requirements
We're looking for experienced and passionate leaders with:
- Recognised qualification in Social Work (Degree, PGDip or MA/MSc) or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of children's social care and the needs of children in care and care-experienced young people.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- A commitment to relationship-based practice and strengths-based approaches.
- Experience of driving high-quality practice, performance and continuous improvement.
- The ability to inspire teams, build effective partnerships and deliver positive outcomes.
