Team Member – 30 Hours Per Week 📍 My 1st Years – Trafford Centre, Manchester (On-site)
We are excited to be looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and customer-focused Team Member to join our My 1st Years team at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our retail team and help create a welcoming and memorable experience for our customers.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, enjoys working with customers and is confident representing the My 1st Years brand.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a friendly and welcoming service
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure customers have a great experience
- Approach and engage with customers to drive sales
- Promote the My 1st Years brand and products
- Help customers find the products they are looking for
- Provide advice and guidance on product selection
- Process cash and card payments accurately
- Deal with customer queries and refunds professionally
- Replenish stock and assist with stock control
- Receive and store deliveries
- Keep the concession clean, tidy and well presented
- Ensure products are correctly priced and displayed
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to the manager
- Work as part of the team to achieve sales targets
- Follow company guidelines and procedures
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the business

Person Specification
We are looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, approachable and engaging
- Confident when speaking to and approaching customers
- Experienced in retail or sales (desirable)
- An excellent communicator with strong customer service skills
- Helpful, polite and professional
- Comfortable using basic IT systems
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
- Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
- Positive, hardworking and reliable
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
Full training will be provided.
