Responsibilities

  • Customer Excellence: Providing an excellent experience to each and every customer, ensuring needs are exceeded at all times.
  • Product Quality: Assisting in the preparation and service of all products, ensuring the correct standard and quality is met.
  • Team Support: Assisting your colleagues whenever and wherever possible to promote excellent teamwork.
  • Safety & Standards: Ensuring all production processes, practices, and Food Safety controls are followed.
  • Operational Accuracy: Performing all payment procedures in an accurate and consistent manner, including till transactions.
  • Proactive Support: Following reasonable instructions from management and carrying out miscellaneous duties as required.

Daily Duties:

  • Retail: Greeting customers, providing fast and efficient service, offering suggestions, handling complaints, acting as a final quality check, communicating stock levels, ensuring correct packaging and merchandising, and producing coffee and drinks.
  • Production: Minimising wastage, monitoring the quality of bread and deliveries, preparing product range, ensuring no sub-standard items are displayed, and following Food Safety controls.
  • Barista: Preparing coffee, maintaining equipment, conducting coffee checks, following opening/closing procedures for the coffee area, and ensuring coffee product freshness and temperature control.
  • General: Following shop opening/closing procedures, adhering to Health & Safety and company policies, wearing uniform and maintaining hygiene, performing cleaning duties, working safely, reporting accidents/faulty equipment, and assisting with training.
