Job Description

Job Purpose

This role encompasses working any 5 of 7 days in a week, with regular weekend work. You will offer the highest standard of service, providing a positive and efficient customer experience by preparing and serving quality food and beverages, maintaining a clean work environment, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
  • Assisting with any kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
  • To organise deliveries, and ensuring the fridges are stocked, using a first in, first out process.
  • Assisting with clearing tables and maintaining a clean working environment.
  • To ensure all labels and prices are correct.
  • Maintain awareness of promotions, pricing and product information.
  • To be flexible to work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and working on the floor, serving food and drinks.
  • Follow food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service targets and maintain smooth operations.
  • To attend all training and development courses as requested.
  • To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour, appearance and knowledge.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
