Created by Bake Street’s Feroz Gajia, Manna serves bold, indulgent American comfort food done properly. The menu brings together cult smash burgers, crispy fried chicken and diner-inspired favourites—including double patties, hot chicken, loaded fries and thick shakes.
About The Role
We’re looking for an charismatic, energetic and welcoming Front of House Team Member to join Manna.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining the responsibilities of a waiter, host and food runner. You’ll welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, run dishes from the kitchen and help create the lively, friendly experience that Manna is known for.
You’ll move between different areas depending on the needs of the service, so flexibility, teamwork and a positive attitude are essential. Working closely with the kitchen team and Shop Manager, you’ll help ensure every service runs smoothly and every guest leaves with a great impression of Manna.
As a successful Front of House Team Member, you will:
- Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression
- Help manage queues, organise seating and communicate waiting times
- Build excellent knowledge of Manna’s menu, ingredients and brand
- Explain the menu, answer questions and confidently make recommendations
- Take orders accurately and process payments efficiently
- Serve food and drinks with friendly, genuine hospitality
- Run dishes from the kitchen quickly and safely
- Check that orders are complete and presented correctly before reaching guests
- Clear and reset tables to keep the restaurant clean and ready
- Check in with guests and respond quickly to questions or requests
- Communicate closely with the kitchen and wider front-of-house team
- Support your teammates during busy, high-volume services
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
- Follow all health and safety and company procedures
- Help ensure every guest leaves excited to return

We’d Love To Hear From You If You
- Have 2+ years of experience as a waiter, host, food runner or front-of-house team member
- Enjoy working with people and delivering excellent guest experiences
- Are confident communicating with guests and colleagues
- Can multitask and move comfortably between different responsibilities
- Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Can remain calm, organised and focused during busy services
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Take pride in being attentive, reliable and welcoming
- Are eager to learn and develop within a growing business
- Bring energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in
- Have a positive attitude, enjoy working with people and are keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you!
