The Ship Inn

The Ship Inn sits in a truly stunning location on the banks of Yealm Estuary, complete with riverside beer garden and even its own mooring space! We're a historic village pub and we're looking for top talent to join our friendly team in one of the most idyllic pub settings in the area.

A traditional pub with elements of a more formal dining restaurant; we're focused on providing premium drinks, food made from fresh and seasonal ingredients, and a warm and friendly welcome from our team.

What we look for in our team members:

We are looking for individuals who can not only provide quality service in a locally-beloved establishment, but who is also willing to go the extra mile to create a memorable experience for every one of our guests. We are looking for hospitality-driven personalities in a people-focused industry who will work as part of our team to ensure a tailor-made, welcoming experience for everyone who steps foot through our door.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
