About BKL

BKL is a Top 40 accountancy and advisory business supporting a diverse client base, from entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals to ambitious owner-managed businesses and multinational groups. With a legacy spanning over 130 years, we’ve evolved into a modern, purpose-driven business that balances profit with impact.

We are proud to be a certified B Corp, reflecting our commitment to sustainability, transparency, and responsible governance. As a member of DFK International, we support clients locally and internationally with cutting-edge expertise and a personal touch.

We believe all clients deserve the same level of care, innovation, and excellence.

Your Opportunity

As a PA in an accountancy practice, you’ll provide high-level administrative and organisational support to partners or senior accountants. You’ll be the linchpin that keeps schedules, communications and client interactions running smoothly – all while maintaining strict confidentiality and a sharp eye for detail.

This role gives you the chance to make an impact with ambitious clients, develop your expertise, and grow your career within a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of work, be encouraged to innovate, and benefit from a clear progression pathway.

How You’ll Make a Difference

In this role, you will:

  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
  • Prepare and format documents, reports, and client correspondence
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and post — prioritising and responding as appropriate
  • Liaise with clients, HMRC, and other stakeholders on behalf of partners
  • Maintain client records and ensure compliance with GDPR and AML regulations
  • Organise internal meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points
  • Support with invoicing, timesheets, and basic bookkeeping tasks (if required)
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining CRM systems
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and event planning
  • Dealing with Client Post, scanning or filing
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Technical

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
