Role: Team PA / Office Assistant
Location: Central Bristol (with travel to surrounding areas)
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Core Working Hours: 9am – 6pm, with flexibility
Salary: £30,000 (DOE)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to support a small, dynamic start-up. This varied role combines administrative, organisational, and logistical responsibilities, alongside broader team support and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time. It is ideal for an ambitious, organised candidate looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing team support, including coordinating meetings, arranging travel and accommodation, taking meeting notes, and assisting with day-to-day tasks.
  • Supporting key business projects with tasks such as research, event support, or hosting visitors.
  • Managing office logistics, from liaising with suppliers, contractors, and building management to helping with IT, document management, expenses, and onboarding.
  • Providing ad hoc PA support to the Chairman during busy periods, including diary management, appointments, and lifestyle / logistical coordination.

About You

  • You are a passionate individual with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys being part of a small team and supporting colleagues across a range of activities.
  • Previous work experience, including at least six months in a corporate environment.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with good judgment and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car are essential, as some days will involve travel to nearby locations and portfolio businesses.
  • An interest in sustainability and sustainable business practices a plus.
