We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Supervisor to join our Reablement Service. This is a great opportunity to lead a team of committed Reablement Assistants who help people regain confidence, develop skills and maintain their independence within their own homes.

As a Team Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting your team to deliver outstanding, person-centered services that achieve meaningful outcomes for residents across Worcestershire.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Team Supervisor, you will provide leadership, guidance and support to a team of up to 24 Reablement Assistants, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality support services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of up to 24 Reablement Assistants
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, induction and training activities
  • Conducting regular supervisions, appraisals and performance management discussions
  • Promoting a positive culture of learning, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements and best practice
  • Maintaining accurate records and high standards of documentation
  • Contributing to quality assurance activities and service development initiatives
  • Participating in a duty rota to support service delivery across 7 days a week, 365 days a year
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for service users

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an individual who can bring both strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to improving people's lives.

You will have:

  • Experience of leading or supervising teams and managing performance effectively
  • Knowledge and understanding of Reablement principles and person-centred practice
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in chairing meetings and producing professional reports
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • A commitment to supporting and developing staff
  • Experience or understanding of quality assurance processes and continuous improvement
  • Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems and databases
  • A proactive, resilient and professional approach to service delivery
