This is a fantastic opportunity to join Rowcroft Hospice and become an important part of our Clinical Services Coordination Team, providing friendly, efficient and compassionate administrative support to our Medical Team, Community and Hospice at Home services.
You’ll be someone who enjoys making a difference behind the scenes. From welcoming patients and visitors and coordinating information, to supporting referrals, maintaining accurate records and helping our clinical teams stay organised, your work will help ensure our services run smoothly and patients and families receive an excellent experience.
This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll work across our services and, when needed, provide support to the Inpatient Unit as part of our seven-day service when it’s needed.

What You'll Bring
We’re looking for an organised, approachable and proactive team player who takes pride in providing excellent support. You’ll bring:
- Experience of working effectively within an administration team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confidence handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- The ability to remain calm and professional when working under pressure or in distressing situations.
- Experience using databases and patient care record systems.
- A positive, solution-focused approach and a willingness to take responsibility and use your initiative.
Knowledge of medical terminology, previous healthcare experience and experience working with volunteers would be advantageous.
