Team Training Lead – Artificial Intelligence Technical

UK/Europe- Homebased, Occasional Travel Required

About The Role

Our Regulatory Services, Professional Development team are looking for a Team Training Lead – AI Technical who will develop and execute a Professional Development Strategy customised for the AI Technical (Operations) team within Regulatory Services (RS), ensuring consistent delivery of an excellent professional development service to AI Technical Specialists, AI Scheme Managers and other AI technical colleagues where applicable.

Responsibilities

Ensuring a proactive approach in assessing training and development needs taking into account:

  • Changes to AI legislation, regulations and guidance documents.
  • Changes to recognised standards and state-of-the-art expectations.
  • Outputs from competence monitoring activities.
  • Changes to BSI procedures and processes.
  • Findings from internal, accreditation and regulatory audits.
  • General Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
  • Internal and external customer feedback.
  • Outputs from annual performance reviews.
  • Feedback from competence verification and certificate decision activities.
  • Business, operational and organisational needs.
  • Feedback on gaps from previous training activities

Creating, documenting, implementing and regularly maintaining a Professional Development Strategy for the AI Technical and AI Notified Body teams.

Regularly reviewing and aligning the Professional Development Strategy with AI Technical leadership, AI Notified Body leadership and PD leadership.

Highlighting and bringing to the attention of leadership the support required to execute the team-specific Professional Development Strategy.

Development and maintenance of the AI Technical and AI Notified Body training and competence strategy, plans and learning pathways.

Responsible for oversight of available competence and workforce capability data to identify and highlight gaps in AI competence code coverage and capability needs.

Working with leadership teams to develop and implement plans to address low-coverage competence areas and future capability requirements.

Responsible for supporting AI Technical and AI Notified Body teams in New Starter onboarding, Initial Training and Continuous Professional Development.

To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant AI / software discipline
  • Work experience gained in AI software, AI-enabled products, quality systems, conformity assessment, certification or related industries.
  • Good knowledge of AI regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience delivering technical or regulatory training.
  • Experience working with leadership teams to support competence development and workforce capability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) at all levels

  • UK: The salary for this position can range from £58.000 to £78.000 annually
  • Netherlands: The salary for this position can range from €81,600 to €102,000 annually
  • Germany: The salary for this position can range from €84,000 to €105,000 annually
  • France: The salary for this position can range from €64,000 to €80,000 annually
  • Spain: The salary for this position can range from €61,600 to €77,000 annually
  • Italy: The salary for this position can range from €57,600 to €72,000 annually
