In our team, you will:
- Lead and shape conversations with clients, defining and driving solutions to real-world problems through a blend of architecture and engineering across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
- Set the technical direction, influencing decisions at scale while being backed by industry-leading training, certifications, and structured coaching and mentoring programmes.
As an Architect, you will:
- Lead Technical Governance: Act as a Design Authority for large-scale programs, ensuring delivery teams align with the strategic vision and adhere to modern engineering standards.
- Ensure Robustness & Security: Own the design of enterprise-wide applications that are highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure zero trust identity and access management (never trust, always verify).
- Drive Strategy & Modernization: Partner directly with clients and where necessary our partner ecosystem to translate business goals into technical requirements, defining target operating models and modernization roadmaps.
- Champion system performance, resilience, and efficiency: Proactively identifying and addressing consumption and scalability challenges. Champion full stack observability using modern full stack observability, SRE and AIOps.
- Manage & Mentor: Lead teams of architects and engineers, providing technical coaching, career counselling, performance management, and coaching to elevate technical excellence.
We are looking for experience in the following:
- Strategic Architecture: A strong command of software architecture with the ability to link technical decisions to business outcomes (e.g., TCO, speed to market).
- Cloud & Integration Fluency: Proven experience across one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM), including PaaS and API gateway, IaaS including but not limited to network design, connectivity patterns, zero trust IAM, compute, storage backup, HA and DR strategies, container platforms and orchestration and iPaaS
- Modern Engineering Patterns: Deep expertise spanning Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Hybrid and multi-cloud : Skilled in hybrid architectures and able to demonstrate where legacy meets cloud
- Operational Excellence: A solid understanding of non-functional requirements and the ability to translate them into robust architectural decisions for critical infrastructure.
- Advisory Skills: The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders ("Storytelling") and manage senior client relationships.
- Leadership Mindset: A track record of leading teams, navigating ambiguity, and elevating others by connecting and sharing knowledge. Experience working with delivery leads, scrum teams and PMO and managing stakeholders and governance including steering committees or executive stakeholder management

Additional desirable experience :
- Engineering/Development : Demonstrated experience working close to engineering and teams, ensuring realistic delivery expectations.
- Developer Repo Contributions : Showcase during interview personal or open-source work, prototypes, accelerators, or reference architectures so that during interview the repo artefacts can be used explain their decisions through architecture diagrams, ADRs, and code samples.
- Agentic Vision: A sound understanding of the "Agent Economy." Concepts such as agent orchestration, tool-use patterns, and the governance frameworks required to deploy autonomous agents safely. In the future as an Architect, a significant portion of your role and therefore you should be able to demonstrate a good grounding in agentic architectures have a clear certification learning path and be well on the way to certification already
