Tech Assistant Role
Hours: 15
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 FTE - pro rata £10,500-£12,000
Location: St Paul’s Church, Leicester Street, Leamington Spa CV32 4TE
St Paul’s is a large, lively, evangelical church in Leamington Spa. Our vision is, together with others, to give everyone in the area a meaningful opportunity to respond to the good news of Jesus by Easter 2033. As we do this, we are becoming increasingly dependent on technical support for almost every event, service and meeting we have in the church; this role will give some essential capacity and consistency as well as assisting in routine and one-off maintenance and development projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
