Investors could play a greater role in helping companies and humanity navigate the upcoming wave of AI disruption. The Investor AI Resource Hub is a new non-profit that will enable this by producing research and resources on how AI governance and safety are material to investment decisions and stewardship.
The Investor AI Resource Hub is looking to hire a tech equity research analyst to lead research on how AI governance and AI safety are material to investment decisions in the tech sector. One input into this research will be the work of AI governance and safety non-profits.
Activities
- Investment research on AI governance: Produce investment research on AI risks, safety and governance. The aim is to position AI governance and safety as material investment topics. The research can range from short news responses, to adding an investment angle to existing AI safety research to new in-depth research. The primary focus is research relevant to the frontier developers, but not exclusively.
- Investor targeting: Target and engage investors with this research via e-mails, one-on-one calls, and webinars. The aim is to build a growing list of investors who are engaged in AI governance as a material investment topic. This can be sectors analysts, fund managers, and stewardship teams. This will build on 400+ investors already engaged.
- Expert speakers: Find and host relevant expert speakers on the same topics as the research – e.g. from AI governance and safety bodies, academics, civil society, and the AI industry.
- Resource database and weekly e-mail: A core output of the Investor AI Resource Hub will be a curated database and guide to existing resources and research on AI governance and safety. This role will work alongside team members to keep this up to date and send a regular update to investors with additions.
- Advise AI governance non-profits: Advise and support AI governance non-profits on how to engage investors. This could be advising on how to frame research for investors and how to reach investors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
