About us
Log my Care is the platform for next-generation care providers. We’re built for forward-thinking care teams who want to move beyond outdated systems and deliver the very best person-led care. Our mission is to enable providers to deliver proactive care—helping teams anticipate needs, prevent issues before they arise, and give people the best chance at healthier, happier lives. Outdated, clunky software wastes time and holds care back.
We’re building the antidote: intuitive, powerful tools that save hours on admin, unlock smarter insights, and raise the standard of care every day. That’s why over 2,000 providers across the UK choose Log my Care to deliver safer, smarter, more proactive care that transforms lives.
The role
We're looking for a Tech Lead to join our Care Management product squad, responsible for our leading product and driving it forward. You'll be focused on helping care teams deliver person-led, person-centred care to improve daily experiences and outcomes for the over 25K supported people on Log my Care.
As Tech Lead, you'll set the technical direction for the squad and act as a force multiplier for the team. You'll unblock delivery by solving complex technical challenges, including applying LLMs to solve real problems for care teams, not just bolt them on, setting clear architectural direction, and coaching engineers to ship high-quality work confidently. You'll stay close to the codebase where needed, but your focus is enabling the squad to move fast and build sustainably.
This is a high-ownership role with real scope to shape how care is evidenced and delivered safely across the platform, from care plans and risk assessments to clinical integrations (GP Connect) with the NHS, while leading a small, product-led squad with meaningful impact on the services and people who rely on them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
