Since acquiring Tech Nation in 2023, the group has relaunched high-impact initiatives to empower UK scaleups, backed by a network that includes partnerships with Informa Tech and global leaders across the tech ecosystem.

Job Description

You will lead Tech Nation’s newly launched Deeptech programme, supporting post-spinout and Series A founders. As Programme Manager, you will plan and deliver cohort-based initiatives, build a robust network of investors and academics, and pilot a flagship deeptech forum, establishing yourself as the in-house specialist for the UK’s frontier tech ecosystem.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of two deeptech cohort programmes annually, providing strategic advisory support and educational sessions for 10–15 high-growth companies per cycle.
  • Pilot and execute a new flagship Founders Forum x Tech Nation deeptech forum to unite programme stakeholders, alumni, and world-class speakers.
  • Actively research and identify thought leaders and strategic partners to curate high-impact content and maintain a leading position in deeptech ecosystem trends.

The ideal candidate

  • Proven experience working within the startup ecosystem, specifically in roles involving accelerators, venture capital, community management, or operations at a deeptech startup.
  • Demonstrable project management skills with the ability to lead complex event calendars and coordinate high-profile stakeholders across the UK tech landscape.
  • A genuine passion for frontier technologies like robotics or space tech, combined with the entrepreneurial drive to build new initiatives from the ground up.
