We’re growing our New Business Sales team at IRIS Software Group and looking for ambitious, confident people who want to build a successful career in tech sales.

You don’t need to come from a tech background. We’re much more interested in your potential.

If you’re great with people, commercially minded, motivated by targets and love the idea of building relationships and winning new business, we want to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be at the beginning of the new business journey, speaking to prospective customers and creating opportunities for IRIS.

You’ll be:

  • Reaching out to new prospective customers through phone, email and LinkedIn
  • Building relationships with key decision-makers
  • Asking great questions to understand businesses, their challenges and what they need
  • Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities
  • Building and managing your own pipeline
  • Working towards individual and team sales targets
  • Collaborating with colleagues across New Business, Sales and Marketing
  • Learning how to sell software solutions in a B2B environment

Who are we looking for?

Previous tech sales experience is great — but it isn't essential.

We’re interested in people who are:

  • Confident and comfortable speaking to new people
  • Ambitious and motivated by targets
  • Strong communicators who can build relationships
  • Resilient and able to bounce back when things don't go to plan
  • Curious and willing to learn
  • Proactive and happy to create their own opportunities
  • Collaborative and enjoy being part of a team

You might already work in sales, recruitment, retail, hospitality, customer service or another people-focused environment and be looking for a route into the tech industry.

Or you might already be in tech sales and looking for your next move.
