Tech Talent Acquisition Partner - Compass Group UK&I

Competitive salary + commission and great benefits, remote working with occasional UK travel | Full time / Permanent

We're looking for a Tech Talent Acquisition Partner to lead specialist digital and technology recruitment across Compass Group UK&I. You’ll work with hiring managers and People teams to understand business priorities; shape hiring briefs and agree what great looks like before a search begins.

This exciting in house recruitment opportunity goes beyond filling vacancies. You’ll use direct search and market insight to find talent; guide fair hiring decisions and build pipelines for critical roles and future demand. You’ll be accountable for a positive candidate experience, strong hiring manager relationships and reducing unnecessary agency reliance.

Tech Talent Acquisition Partner - The role

  • Build trusted relationships with leaders and hiring managers to understand talent needs.
  • Shape hiring strategies through effective briefs, success criteria and recruitment plans.
  • Provide market insight on talent, salaries and competitor activity.
  • Lead direct sourcing for management, specialist and senior technology roles.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Drive quality hiring through structured, fair and evidence-based assessment.
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience aligned to the Compass employer brand.
  • Use data and KPIs to improve recruitment performance and identify risks.
  • Maximise direct hiring and reduce unnecessary agency spend.
  • Collaborate with talent acquisition colleagues sharing talent intelligence, best practice and supporting future talent initiatives.

What We're Looking For...

  • Experience delivering end to end recruitment with a focus on innovative digital, technology, and transformation, including direct search for management or specialist roles such as Software Engineer, Digital Project Manager, IT Lead, Product Lead.
  • Confidence partnering with senior hiring managers and constructively challenging a brief.
  • Strong candidate assessment and interviewing judgement.
  • An understanding of relevant tech expertise such as Python, Java, AWS.
  • Ability to use market information and recruitment data to shape decisions.
  • A well organised approach to managing multiple vacancies without losing pace or candidate care.
  • Commitment to fair, inclusive hiring and accurate record keeping.
