This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Account Manager based in United Kingdom.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will serve as a strategic and technical partner to large enterprise customers throughout their entire journey.
You will guide customers from onboarding and implementation through long-term adoption, retention, and expansion.
The role combines technical expertise, project management, customer success, and consultative problem-solving.
You will work closely with Sales, Support, Engineering, and other teams to deliver solutions that create measurable customer value.
Your curiosity and ability to understand complex data environments will help customers get the most from a sophisticated technology platform.
You will also bring customer feedback and emerging use cases back to internal teams to influence product evolution.
This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in a fast-moving, collaborative, and technology-driven environment.
Accountabilities
- Own the technical customer journey from kickoff and onboarding through ongoing success, adoption, retention, and expansion.
- Manage and execute customer-facing technical projects, ensuring onboarding activities are well organized, timely, and aligned with customer objectives.
- Build strong relationships with enterprise customers and develop a deep understanding of their business requirements, technical environments, use cases, and challenges.
- Provide proactive technical guidance and recommend best practices to help customers maximize the value and adoption of the platform.
- Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities to increase platform adoption and support the growth of strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, and other internal teams to investigate and resolve complex technical issues and escalations.
- Translate customer requirements into practical, efficient solutions while helping customers navigate complex technical systems.
- Identify emerging customer use cases, recurring challenges, and product opportunities, and communicate these insights to Engineering and other product teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor who can balance technical depth with business priorities and customer outcomes.
- Manage competing priorities, deadlines, and unexpected roadblocks while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a client-facing and/or technology-focused role combining strong business understanding with technical expertise.
- Demonstrated experience managing and delivering technical projects with a customer-first mindset and strong empathy for customer needs.
- Excellent project management, organization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex technical environments, including SQL, databases, APIs, reporting tools, and related systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a genuine interest in continuously developing technical expertise.
- Ability to understand customer requirements at a detailed level and translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical recommendations.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders with different technical backgrounds and responsibilities.
- Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure, manage deadlines, and navigate unexpected challenges with confidence.
- A customer-oriented, curious, proactive, and consultative approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced technology environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
