Technical Accounting Manager
Join a leading Technical Accounting & External Reporting team as a Technical Accounting Manager. This role combines technical IFRS expertise with financial reporting responsibilities, supporting complex accounting matters, external reporting, group consolidation, SOX compliance, and statutory accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical accounting papers and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide accounting guidance on complex transactions and business initiatives.
- Support implementation of new IFRS standards and maintain accounting policies.
- Produce disclosures for half-year and annual reporting requirements.
- Operate and document key SOX controls.
- Support month-end group consolidation, including journals, eliminations, and reporting reviews.
- Assist with preparation of statutory accounts and head office reporting.
- Build relationships across finance teams and support financial reporting initiatives.

Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Approximately 2+ years’ post-qualification experience.
- Experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
- Strong IFRS knowledge and research skills.
- Listed company experience is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and results-focused approach.

Package
- Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience.
- Performance bonus and competitive pension scheme.
- Hybrid working (2–3 days per week in the office).
