Technical Account Manager - AI Operations
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 plus travel expenses, bonus scheme eligibility after six months, and share options
Permanent, Full-time

Our client is a fast-growing AI consultancy and training organisation helping businesses build the skills, systems and confidence needed to succeed in an AI-enabled world. Working with clients across the UK and internationally, they deliver AI training, transformation support and managed AI Operations services that help organisations integrate, govern and optimise AI across their business.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded and commercially aware professional to take ownership of AI Operations delivery for a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for provisioning, managing and optimising enterprise AI environments, ensuring clients can successfully embed AI into their day-to-day operations.
Alongside the technical delivery, you will act as a trusted advisor, leading client relationships, facilitating regular account reviews and identifying opportunities to further support client success. This is a varied, hands-on role offering significant responsibility, exposure to leading AI platforms and the chance to work at the forefront of AI adoption and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and administer enterprise AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot
- Configure user access, licensing, governance settings and workspace administration
- Integrate AI platforms with business systems including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM platforms and knowledge bases
- Build custom AI assistants, shared prompts, templates and workflows to support client objectives
- Manage day-to-day AI Operations, connectors, licenses and platform performance
- Lead client account meetings, agree actions and ensure successful delivery against objectives
- Act as the primary point of contact for client AI Operations requirements
- Support client training, adoption and ongoing AI capability development
- Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen client partnerships
- Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance the AI Operations offering

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience administering enterprise or team-based SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of AI platforms and practical AI tool usage
- Experience configuring integrations, connectors or APIs between business systems
- Proven ability to manage client relationships in a customer-facing environment
- Excellent communication skills with confidence leading meetings and presenting to stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities within accounts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Willingness to work from the Stockport office when not travelling
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and internationally, including overnight stays where required
