ROLE SUMMARY

The Technical Account Manager acts as the main technical point of contact for LSEG customers, providing expert guidance throughout onboarding, certification, connectivity, readiness and ongoing service adoption. You will build strong relationships with member firms, software providers and data vendors, supporting customers through market, product and system changes while ensuring they are configured for success.

Working across Product, Technology, Operations and Client Services teams, you will provide functional support, lead technical consultations and coordinate customer readiness activities to deliver an outstanding customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise in financial markets, trading technologies and technical relationship management.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Support Technical Account Managers in delivering a high-quality service to member firms, data vendors and independent software vendors across onboarding, customer readiness, business-as-usual support and change programmes.
  • Provide functional support and technical guidance to customers, managing enquiries through shared communication channels and ensuring timely resolution in line with agreed service levels.
  • Coordinate customer onboarding, connectivity, testing, certification and readiness activities, ensuring customer configurations align with recommended guidelines and are implemented consistently.
  • Produce and maintain customer-facing communications and documentation, including service announcements, technical guidance, readiness materials and project briefings.
  • Gather, analyse and communicate customer service and usage metrics, including connectivity statistics, latency data, gateway utilisation and platform performance information.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal team members, coordinating consultations, maintaining project and readiness trackers, and supporting engagement throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Project Management, Network and Support teams to deliver market, system and regulatory changes, maintain knowledge repositories, support testing and enablement activities, and participate in customer meetings, industry events and Technical User Groups.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of financial markets, particularly Equities, Exchange Trading, Market Data or Post Trade services.
  • Experience in a client-facing technical role such as Technical Account Management, Client Services, Technical Support or Customer Success.
  • Understanding of electronic trading technologies, connectivity solutions and the FIX Protocol.
  • Experience supporting customer onboarding, certification, testing or readiness activities within a financial services environment.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment, building effective relationships and delivering positive client outcomes.
  • Good communication and customer management skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities, manage competing deadlines and support project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to investigating issues and identifying effective solutions.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure, connectivity, networking concepts and client-facing technology solutions.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities and develop expertise within financial markets and trading technologies.
