Role Overview
The Cyber Security Advisory (CSA) team at Ontinue plays a critical role in delivering expert security guidance and hands-on technical support to our customers. As a Cyber Security Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of this mission, acting as a trusted security partner throughout the customer journey — from initial onboarding through the full lifecycle of the service.
In this role, you’ll help customers understand, adopt, and continuously improve their security posture by translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable guidance. You’ll work closely with customers to ensure Ontinue’s capabilities are aligned to their environments, goals, and risk profiles, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen defenses and address emerging threats.

By building strong relationships and providing ongoing advisory support, Cyber Security Advisors help customers realize maximum value from the Ontinue platform, improve operational resilience, and make informed security decisions with confidence.
Customer Engagement
- Interface directly with customers, providing expert advice and indirect leadership in cyber security to address their unique needs and challenges.
Technical Expertise
- Leverage your cyber security experience to deliver proactive support and guidance, helping customers optimize their security defenses and mitigate risks effectively.
Microsoft Focus
- Utilize your knowledge of Microsoft security products, including Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and the Microsoft Defender suite, to offer tailored recommendations and solutions.
Relationship Building
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, acting as a reliable and trustworthy partner in their journey to enhance security posture and resilience.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay abreast of the latest cyber security trends, attacker tradecraft, and best practices, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to better serve our customers.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of cyber security experience, with a proven track record of providing advisory services to clients or internal stakeholders.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interfacing with all levels of business and providing informal leadership in cyber security matters.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft security products and technologies, with proficiency in Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and the Microsoft Defender suite or related product lines.
- Deep understanding of attacker tradecraft and security hardening techniques, enabling you to offer valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
- Fluent in English.

Nice to Have
- Scripting/programming skills to automate security tasks and processes.
- Experience in incident response and threat hunting, enhancing your ability to detect and respond to security incidents effectively.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra, contributing to comprehensive security assessments and solutions.
- Background in network and system administration, providing a holistic understanding of security infrastructure.
- Experience in the managed security services industry, familiarizing you with the unique challenges and opportunities in delivering security services at scale.
