Role Overview
As a Technical Account Manager, you'll be the trusted technical advisor for a portfolio of Vorboss customers, helping them maximise the value of our connectivity, managed IT and cybersecurity services.
You'll develop a deep understanding of each customer's technical environment and business objectives, providing proactive guidance throughout their lifecycle. Working closely with Sales, Solutions, Engineering and Service Delivery teams, you'll drive product adoption, reduce technical risk and ensure customers achieve measurable business outcomes.
This role bridges commercial and technical teams, combining technical expertise with relationship management to build long-term partnerships and identify opportunities for customers to get even more value from Vorboss.

- Develop a detailed understanding of customers' technical environments, infrastructure and business objectives.
- Act as the trusted technical advisor for your customers, providing guidance on best practice, product capabilities and technical roadmaps.
- Recommend solutions that improve performance, resilience, scalability and security.
- Develop and maintain Technical Success Plans aligned with customer objectives.
- Drive the adoption and optimisation of Vorboss products and services, supporting customers through upgrades, migrations, integrations and ongoing service improvements.
- Help customers achieve measurable technical and operational outcomes by providing proactive guidance throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Identify technical risks early and work with internal teams to develop mitigation plans.
- Support discussions around resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity and security, engaging specialist colleagues where appropriate.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, Engineering, Service Delivery and Customer Support to deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Introduce internal technical specialists where additional expertise is required to support customer success.
- Capture customer feedback and communicate insights to help shape future product and service improvements.
- Identify opportunities where additional Vorboss products and services can deliver value, supporting customer renewals and long-term account growth.
Essential
The right candidate:
- Experience in a Technical Account Manager, Solutions Consultant, Technical Customer Success or similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of networking, telecommunications, managed IT or cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, planning and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across technical and commercial teams.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-first mindset.

Desirable
- Experience within telecommunications, managed services or enterprise IT.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, networking technologies or cybersecurity solutions.
- Relevant technical or industry certifications.
