JOB DESCRIPTION

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will oversee and address our customers’ technical needs. You will provide accurate technical service before and after the point of sale, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

  • The TAM will be aligned with key customers, gaining a deep understanding of their business and systems.
  • You will be the trusted technical advisor and work with specialists within Redcentric and provide oversight of customers’ programmes of work.
  • You may also be asked to occasionally work with other customers for fixed periods, when a customer needs a guiding hand.
  • Occasionally, as Redcentric needs dictate, the TAM may be asked to step into Solutions or Delivery roles for their customers, or others, for specific opportunities or projects.

Key Skills & Experience

As a TAM, you will be encouraged to maintain, develop, and utilise your skills to ensure that our Managed Services evolve and develop in line with Redcentric strategy, industry developments and best practise.

Ultimately, you should be able to provide technical, product and business knowledge to support account management, strengthen customer relationships and enhance the managed service capability offered by Redcentric.

Person specification

As a TAM, you should be a tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience. You should also be results-driven and aspire to achieve specific goals.

Hours of work

The company’s standard hours of work are 9.00 until 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, with one hour for lunch, and 3:30pm on a Friday. However, due to the nature of this role there will be the need for flexibility in relation to working hours.
