About the Role
As a Technical Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Technical team across all areas of the product lifecycle. Working closely with Buying, Design, Merchandising and Technical colleagues, you'll help coordinate processes, maintain accurate documentation, manage samples and compliance records, and ensure critical deadlines are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and eager to build their career within a fast-paced product development environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Technical team with administration across product development, fittings, testing, compliance and supplier communications.
- Coordinating samples, fit sessions, supplier visits and key meetings, including preparing documentation and taking meeting notes.
- Maintaining compliance files, monitoring key dates and ensuring critical path activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Assisting with inspection and testing programmes, managing reports and liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Supporting departmental processes through invoice administration, supplier set-up, systems management and training documentation.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
