Job Description

About the Role

Join Our Maintenance Operations Team

Our Maintenance Operations team provides the engineering support, planning and coordination that keeps our business running safely and efficiently.

From coordinating maintenance activities to resolving operational issues, the team plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, reliable and customer-focused environment.

Opportunities to join this friendly and specialist team don’t come around often, so we’re excited to be recruiting for an Aircraft Technical Administrator to join us in Luton.

Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor, you’ll work as part of a small, specialist team responsible for coordinating aircraft maintenance inputs from initial customer contact through to completion.

You’ll act as a key point of contact for customers, engineers, internal teams and third-party providers, ensuring maintenance activities are coordinated effectively, safely and within agreed timescales.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where strong organisation, communication and customer service skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate aircraft maintenance inputs, primarily for non-scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the maintenance process.
  • Liaise with engineers, support teams, internal departments and third-party providers to ensure maintenance inputs run smoothly.
  • Provide regular progress updates and effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Produce and maintain maintenance work packages and associated documentation.
  • Monitor maintenance progress to ensure aircraft are delivered safely, on time and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support the final audit and completion of maintenance paperwork.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, quality and operational efficiency throughout each maintenance event.
  • Work flexibly in line with the needs of the business, including alternative working hours when required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
