Alfa is looking to recruit a fixed term Technical Administrator to join our busy Technical Operations team for 12 months to cover one of our team member's sabbatical leave.

What you'll do

Provide technical administrative support and coordination to the technical operations team. Coordinate and monitor a variety of activities ranging from stock management and procurement, project data monitoring to assisting with the preparation and monitoring of the technical operations budget.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement of technical equipment and software as requested by the Technical Operations team.
  • Management, coordination and improvement of the goods inwards process.
  • Maintain IT consumables stock and replenishment
  • Manage any delivery or invoice queries with suppliers
  • Attend supplier review meetings
  • Maintaining office desk equipment and SME installation work (May involve some overseas travel)
  • Maintaining desk equipment inventory
  • The provision of laptops across the company
  • Maintaining the lifecycle, recycling and disposal of IT assets
  • Maintaining and updating the asset register
  • Managing Tech Operations documentation
  • Assist the head of Technical Operations in the preparation and ongoing management of the operational budget
