Oakford Homes is looking for an organised, detail-focused and proactive Technical Administrator to join our growing team.
This is an important role supporting our Technical and Construction teams throughout the development and handover of new homes. You’ll play a key part in keeping technical information, documentation and administration accurate, organised and up to date.
📍 Office-based in SL1 8PE | Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm | Friday 9:00am–4:30pm 💷 Salary: Dependent on experience
What You'll Be Up To
As our Technical Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Issuing and distributing technical and construction drawings to relevant teams, subcontractors and consultants.
- Keeping drawings and technical information up to date and ensuring they are issued to the correct parties.
- Maintaining accurate technical records and documentation.
- Liaising with utility companies regarding electricity, gas, water and other services, including meter readings and accounts.
- Checking and processing utility bills and invoices, resolving discrepancies where required.
- Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Collecting and organising commissioning certificates, warranties, test certificates and other project documentation.
- Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate person.
- Occasionally attending meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions.
- Providing general administrative support across the office.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Required
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicating with a range of people, including suppliers, subcontractors and utility companies.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proactive in chasing information and resolving issues.
- Comfortable working with documents, records and technical information.
- IT literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
- A clear and professional communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- In possession of a full driving licence.

Desirable
- Previous experience in an administrative, technical, construction or property environment would be advantageous. However, we're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate the right skills, attitude and willingness to learn.
