Description
Harmony is on a mission to be the best life safety partner to work with and for. Rated an ‘Outstanding Employer’ by Best Companies in 2025, we are only getting bigger and stronger — and we’re looking for A-players to help us get there.
We are passionate about making a difference and obsessed with quality. Our goal is to build a world where every resident can sleep safely at night, knowing their home is 100% safe.
We are looking for a Technical Administrator to support our Height Safety Pre-Construction team, based from either our London or Yeovil office. You will provide the technical and administrative backbone that keeps the height safety pre-construction function running smoothly — supporting the preparation of surveys, designs, specifications, and tenders, and ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and client-ready.
This is a detail-focused, technically engaged role that sits at the intersection of administration and height safety expertise. If you are organised, technically minded, and want to be part of a team genuinely committed to keeping people safe at height — read on.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Height Safety Pre-Construction team with the preparation of survey reports, design documentation, specifications, and tender submissions — ensuring all outputs are accurate, well-presented, and delivered on time.
- Maintain and manage the height safety pre-construction tracker, ensuring all live enquiries, surveys, designs, and submissions are accurately recorded and up to date.
- Assist with the preparation and issue of technical documents including risk assessments, method statements, design drawings, and O&M manuals.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to coordinate information required for surveys, designs, and tenders.
- Support the coordination of site surveys — booking appointments, confirming access, and circulating relevant information to the team ahead of visits.
- Maintain accurate records of all survey data, design outputs, and certification documentation across the height safety portfolio.
- Assist with the preparation of handover packs for won projects, ensuring pre construction information is transferred clearly and completely to the delivery team.
- Keep abreast of relevant height safety standards and guidance, supporting the team in ensuring all documentation meets current requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of pre-construction administration processes, templates, and documentation standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
