Technical & Compliance Manager
Bradford, West Yorkshire BD4
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Full time, permanent office based role Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced Technical & Compliance professional looking for your next challenge? Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical & Compliance Manager to play a key role in ensuring products meet all technical, quality, regulatory, and customer compliance requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business based in Bradford where you'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain the highest standards of product compliance and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all technical and compliance requirements across the product range.
- Ensure products comply with UK and international safety standards and legislation.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain and maintain technical files, certifications, test reports and declarations of conformity.
- Coordinate product testing and certification where required.
- Monitor supplier compliance and resolve technical or quality issues.
- Support new product development by ensuring compliance requirements are met from concept through to launch.
- Work closely with internal teams to maintain accurate product information.
- Conduct supplier performance and compliance reviews.
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry standards.
- Assist with quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Knowledge & Experience
The successful candidate will have knowledge of, or experience working with, regulations including:
- General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)
- Product Safety Legislation
- EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)
- Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)
- Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations (where applicable)
- UK and EU product compliance requirements
About You
You'll have:
- Previous experience in a technical, product compliance, quality or regulatory role.
- Experience within the furniture, manufacturing or consumer goods sector.
- Experience managing supplier technical documentation and compliance records.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to interpret technical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills with confidence working alongside international suppliers.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Working hours will be discussed during the interview process.
