Ready to impact a better future?

As a Technical Energy Manager in our Leisure team, you’ll lead energy management and technical optimisation activities across a portfolio of sites, helping to reduce energy consumption, improve operational performance, and maintain statutory compliance. Your work will support the delivery of safe, efficient, and sustainable facilities while creating impactful solutions for our customers and communities.

This is a role with real purpose. By driving energy efficiency, supporting carbon reduction initiatives, and helping sites operate more effectively, you’ll have a positive impact on communities while supporting our sustainability ambitions. Working closely with operational, technical, and project teams, you’ll help shape a more efficient future and contribute to work that touches lives every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the delivery of energy management activities across contract sites, driving continual improvement in energy performance and carbon reduction.
  • Analyse utility consumption, energy trends, and performance data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Support and maintain compliance with ISO 50001 Energy Management System requirements and associated processes.
  • Collaborate with operational and technical teams to optimise HVAC, Building Management System (BMS), and other building services performance.
  • Support asset management activities, including planned preventative maintenance, capital projects, compliance documentation, and contractor management.
  • Produce regular performance reports and recommendations, helping stakeholders make informed decisions that improve efficiency and sustainability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
