Job Description

This career opportunity would be well suited to someone from within the window and door industry who has gained technical knowledge through either a fabrication, installation or office-based role. Experience in all three areas is not essential, but some exposure to one or more would be beneficial.

Rare and exciting permanent career opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach, who is willing to learn and develop into a technical expert! The role will involve regular interaction with internal and external customers, so strong communication skills and a high standard of written and spoken English are essential. This role will be well suited to someone who is a quick learner, enjoys problem solving and is looking to build a long-term career within the industry. Full training will be provided for CNC programming and other aspects of the role for the right candidate.

The Technical and Production Programmer will be based within a small, well established, fun and supportive team based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. The purpose of the job is to provide technical support to internal and external customers on all product and manufacturing-related queries, whilst supporting the wider business with the testing and implementation of new products and material setups. The role is responsible for creating, maintaining and optimising CNC programs and manufacturing information to ensure safe, efficient and right-first-time production.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
