About The Role

The Technical Apprentice is a role aimed at developing the post holder to succeed in progressive roles within the business. The post holder must have the right level of determination and curiosity to build upon their knowledge and contribute within the organisation. The Apprentice is expected to progress through a degree-level apprenticeship.

Key Tasks And Accountabilities

  • Personal development and successful completion of a degree-level apprenticeship
  • Supporting routine tasks within the Metallurgy and Design functions to gain business experience
  • Drive a continuous improvement philosophy through the department
  • Ensure departmental housekeeping is maintained to a high standard
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required

The Technical Apprentice will be expected to progress through a degree-level apprenticeship with a designated university, achieving satisfactory results throughout.

The Apprentice will attend day release at The Sheffield College.
