About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across the Salesforce platform, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to guide development teams while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture for Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud platform products.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices and the org's long-term roadmap.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks across development teams.
- Lead integration architecture with third-party systems (ERP through snaplogic using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and other integration patterns.
- Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to security, scalability, and performance best practices.
- Provide guidance on data architecture, including data modeling, migration strategy, and large data volume (LDV) handling.
- Own DevOps and release management strategy (CI/CD pipelines, version control, deployment strategy using tools Copado).
- Identify technical risks early and provide mitigation strategies to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide Salesforce Developers, Senior Developers, and Consultants on the team.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and proactively recommend adoption of new features/products.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 6+ years dedicated to Salesforce architecture and development.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering at least 3–5 large-scale, complex Salesforce implementations.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura
- SOQL/SOSL, Triggers, Batch Apex, Asynchronous Apex
- Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, Platform Events)
- Integration patterns and middleware tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)
- Data modeling, security model (sharing rules, profiles, permission sets), and multi-org strategies
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture best practices, limits, and governor limit optimization.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, Git-based version control).
- Hands-on experience with at least two Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Certifications
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) — preferred, not mandatory
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
- Salesforce Certified System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
- Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
- Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds (Commerce Cloud etc.)
- Exposure to Data Cloud and Agent force would be good as new projects are in pipeline for same skill set.
- Prior experience in solution architecture capacity
