About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Delivery Lead / Architect in Client Delivery Lead role to serve as the primary client-facing owner across three application managed services tracks: Engineering Application Maintenance, Engineering Operations, and Legacy Content Applications.
The role will be embedded onsite with the client and will act as the critical bridge between client stakeholders, the offshore Service Delivery Manager, and distributed delivery teams. The successful candidate will own day-to-day delivery, resolving conflicts, prioritizing work across tracks, managing escalation, and hands-on role contributing to complex enhancement and defect-resolution.
This is a senior technical delivery leadership role requiring strong client management, technical understanding, delivery governance, incident management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day delivery accountability across Engineering Application Maintenance, Engineering Operations, and Legacy Content Applications.
- Act as the primary onsite point of contact for client stakeholders, operational issues, and escalations.
- Work closely with the offshore Service Delivery Manager and track leads to translate client priorities into actionable delivery plans.
- Manage and prioritize tickets, defects, enhancements, and backlog based on business impact, severity, and SLA commitments.
- Resolve cross-track conflicts involving priorities, resources, timelines, and competing business requirements.
- Provide hands-on technical support for complex incidents, defects, and enhancements from onsite.
- Represent the offshore delivery organization in client meetings, status reviews, governance forums, and escalations.
- Maintain strong alignment between onsite client expectations and offshore delivery teams.
- Identify potential risks such as SLA breaches, scope creep, resource constraints, and delivery delays, and coordinate mitigation plans.
- Lead onsite Sev-1 incident/war-room activities, coordinating between client stakeholders and offshore technical teams.
- Support onboarding and orientation of new offshore team members, ensuring they understand the client environment and business context.
- Provide accurate feedback to the Service Delivery Manager on client sentiment, delivery health, risks, and emerging priorities.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI, and process optimization based on client requirements and operational observations.
- Validate and support implementation of automation and AI initiatives with client stakeholders.

Required Technical & Professional Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Application Managed Services, IT Delivery, Application Support, or similar environments.
- Previous experience in onsite, client-facing delivery or engagement roles.
- Strong technical hands-on experience of:
- Java /.NET application support
- DevOps and infrastructure
- Content management and publishing platforms
- WoodWing / Adobe technologies
- Experience with ticket, incident, defect, and enhancement management using platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of severity/priority matrices and SLA-driven delivery models.
- Proven experience working with onsite/offshore delivery models and distributed teams.
- Experience coordinating directly with offshore Delivery Managers and technical leads.
- Strong understanding of Agile and ITIL practices, including: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management
- Strong conflict-resolution, negotiation, and prioritization capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in EdTech, Publishing, Media, or Content Management environments.
- Previous experience as an Onsite Technical lead or architect at onsite.
- Experience managing multi-tower engagements.
- ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
- Exposure to AI/automation-led service optimization.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent management qualification is an advantage.
- 10+ years of progressively senior experience in application delivery, managed services, or client-facing program/delivery management.
- Minimum 3 years of onsite client-facing experience.
