Opportunity for a Technical Architect or Architectural Technologist

This is an opportunity for a Technical Architect or Architectural Technologist to join a London-based residential developer. Their projects are known for their creative vision, impeccable detailing, and focus on residential and heritage-led schemes. They create destination sites, each uniquely and individually designed, rather than standard residential blocks or apartment schemes.

The business is distinguished by its integrated approach to development, bringing architecture, interior design, and construction expertise together under one roof. It's an environment where technical rigour and design ambition are treated as equally important and every detail matters.

The role centres on large-scale, technically complex residential and heritage projects, working primarily across RIBA Stages 3–5+. You'll take a lead role in developing coordinated technical packages, managing consultant and subcontractor coordination, and steering projects through detailed technical design and into on-site delivery. It's a role that rewards someone who moves comfortably between the fine grain of a detail and the bigger picture of how a scheme comes together on site.

The opportunity offers an excellent understanding of the processes, timescales, and responsibilities of moving away from practice into a developer set-up, learning alongside other architects. You'll gain a much deeper understanding of costs, programmes, deliverables, and working against budgets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
