Role: Technical Architect
Job Type: Permanent (Hybrid)
Location: Leamington Spa
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time)
The Role
As a Technical Architect, you will design and guide the implementation of technical solutions for modern digital services. You will analyse complex technical problems, translate them into clear, actionable designs, and support engineering teams throughout delivery. You will work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with architectural principles. Your strong hands-on technical background enables you to provide pragmatic, real-world guidance and ensure designs remain feasible throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will also collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, ensuring architectural decisions are understood, well-communicated and aligned with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain enterprise-wide technology and data strategies that support business objectives.
- Analysis & Design: Analyse current IT environments, identify deficiencies, and design future state architectures, defining end-to-end technology solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and gather requirements from various business units.
- Technology Guidance: Advise on emerging technologies, best practices, and cost-effective solutions (e.g., build vs. buy).
- Governance & Standards: Define and enforce architectural standards, ensuring compliance and managing risks.
- Implementation Oversight: Guide the implementation of new systems, ensuring alignment with the overall architecture and business goals.

Your Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
- Object-Oriented Design
- Core Java, J2EE, Springboot-Microservices
- Containerization: Concepts of Docker/Kubernetes/GKE
- Databases: RDBMS, MongoDB
- CI-CD Pipelines (Gitlab)
- Exposure to Hyper-scalers like AWS, GCP or Azure
- HTML / Javascript (Understanding of DOM), CSS, Ajax
- Angular F.w. (Basic
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Diagramming: Microsoft Visio/Lucidchart
