Technical Architect Google (Workspace Gemini AI)
Toronto / WFH
Salary: CAD 145,000
About the Role
Do you have expertise with Google Workspace?
You could be progressing your career in a hands-on role, working on complex and challenging systems as part of a supportive team at a global FinTech.
As a Technical Architect you will take ownership of the architecture, security and operational enablement of a large scale Google ecosystem, acting as the definitive SME for Google Workspace and Gemini. You'll bridge strategic architecture with hands-on delivery, setting the tenant roadmap while enabling IT Operations and L2/L3 administrators to adopt new capabilities securely and effectively.
You'll own the design and evolution of the Google Workspace environment, including organisational units, groups, access controls and collaboration workflows. You'll assess the Google and Gemini product roadmaps, translating new capabilities into practical adoption strategies and designing integrations across identity and enterprise platforms such as Okta and ServiceNow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
