SAP Technical Architect - SAP S/4HANA - Up to £120,000 basic + benefits

This role can be based in EITHER of the following locations: London, Birmingham, Bristol or Manchester. Travel will be involved up to 40% of the time.

A leading global consulting organisation is looking for an experienced SAP Technical Architect / Technology Lead to shape and deliver complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes for major international clients.

This is a senior leadership role combining technical architecture, client advisory, transformation strategy and team leadership. You will define modern SAP technology strategies, lead architecture across large-scale programmes and advise senior technology stakeholders on how to maximise the value of SAP and emerging technologies.

The position:

  • Lead technical architecture across complex SAP ECC/S/4HANA transformation programmes.
  • Define scalable, secure and future-ready architectures across SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Cloud, IAM, Fiori and SAP technology platforms.
  • Establish technology strategies aligned to clean-core principles, SAP best practice and business objectives.
  • Work with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects and senior client stakeholders to resolve complex SAP and non-SAP architecture decisions.
  • Shape the use of SAP Business AI, Joule, automation and intelligent technologies within transformation programmes.
  • Lead technical discovery, solution shaping, proposals, RFPs and executive-level presentations.
  • Provide technical leadership and coaching to architects and consultants, helping develop a high-performing SAP Technology capability.

  • Significant experience leading technical architecture across end-to-end SAP ECC/S/4HANA transformations.
  • Deep knowledge of the wider SAP technology landscape, particularly BTP, Integration Suite, Cloud, IAM, Fiori and SAP Basis.
  • Strong understanding of clean-core architecture, SAP Business AI, Joule and modern SAP technology strategy.
  • The ability to engage credibly with CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects and other senior stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams and experience establishing architecture governance.
  • Experience supporting business development, technical strategy, discovery engagements and solution shaping.
  • A strong interest in innovation and helping organisations build modern, secure and scalable SAP platforms.
