Role Overview
An established and growing residential focused architecture practice is looking to appoint a senior level architect to join its team and take a leading role across a portfolio of high-quality residential projects.
The studio works on contextually designed complex residential schemes, including heritage-led projects, with a strong focus on architecture, interiors, materiality, and detail. Each project is individually designed, with a high level of design ambition and technical resolution, offering exposure from detailed design through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural delivery through RIBA Stages 4 and 5+
- Develop and coordinate detailed architectural information, drawings, schedules, and specifications
- Translate design intent into clear, technically resolved, and buildable packages
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior, and specialist consultants
- Manage packages against agreed programmes and deadlines
- Identify and address technical, coordination, and programme risks
- Support tender preparation and construction sequencing
- Manage RFIs, technical queries, and design changes during construction
- Support site delivery and maintain design quality through to completion
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers
- Provide direction and technical support to other Architects and Assistants
- Maintain clear communication across design, technical, and construction teams

Skills & Experience
- ARB-registered Architect or experienced architectural professional at Senior Architect / Associate level
- Strong experience delivering projects through RIBA Stage 4 and beyond
- Proven experience across technically complex residential projects and managing packages
- Strong technical, detailing, coordination, and construction knowledge
- Experience managing consultants and external stakeholders
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and current technical requirements
- Construction-stage and site experience
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with heritage, listed buildings, high-end residential, or complex refurbishment would be beneficial

Location
The role is based in London and operates on a 4 days office / 1 day working from home basis.
