Technical Architect
Location: North West & Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £85,000
Maxwell Bond have partnered with an innovative SaaS business in the utilities sector that's investing heavily in its technology platform. They're looking for a Technical Architect to lead the future technical direction of their customer platform as they transition from a single-tenant to a multi-tenant architecture.
This is a strategic, hands-on architecture role where you'll work closely with engineering leadership to define technical standards, shape platform design and drive the adoption of modern cloud and AI technologies.

- Own the platform architecture and technical roadmap, leading the transition to a scalable multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Act as the technical design authority, guiding architectural decisions across APIs, integrations, data platforms and cloud services.
- Define modern solutions across event-driven architecture, AI, orchestration and API strategy, balancing technical excellence with commercial considerations.

- Proven experience as a Solutions or Technical Architect within customer-facing SaaS environments, ideally with multi-tenant architecture experience.
- Strong technical background across Azure, C#/.NET, API design, event-driven architecture and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience communicating with both engineering teams and senior stakeholders, with knowledge of AI technologies and the Microsoft ecosystem being highly desirable.
