Job Details
As a PDI Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing photocopiers and printers before they are delivered to customers. You will ensure every device is built, configured, tested, and packed to the highest standards.

Working within a production-focused workshop environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Unboxing and assembling multifunction printers and photocopiers
- Installing additional accessories and peripherals
- Upgrading firmware and software
- Initialising and calibrating devices
- Applying manufacturer and Apogee settings
- Configuring equipment to customer specifications
- Testing functionality and ensuring quality standards are met
- Preparing devices for transport and delivery
- Completing relevant paperwork and updating internal systems
- Maintaining workshop housekeeping standards
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
This is working 42.5 hours per week, based full time in our Lincoln office.
Skills And Experience Required
This role would suit someone from a technical assembly, workshop, manufacturing, field service, IT support, electronics, electrical, or mechanical background who enjoys working with technology and takes pride in delivering quality work.

You Will Ideally Have
- Experience working in a hands-on technical or production environment
- Good IT skills and confidence using a PC, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
- The ability to follow processes and work accurately to deadlines
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused approach
- A practical mindset and willingness to learn new skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- A reliable and dependable work ethic
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves moving, assembling, and preparing equipment
Experience with printers, photocopiers, or office technology would be advantageous but is not essential. Product-specific training will be provided.
