Technical Assistant
Location: South Wales
Salary: £32,000
We’re working with a successful food manufacturer looking for a Technical Assistant to join their technical team and support key retail customers.
The Role
- Support the Technical team with day-to-day customer requirements.
- Maintain product specifications and technical documentation.
- Assist with audits, customer queries, and technical investigations.
- Support food safety, quality, and compliance processes.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, NPD, and Operations.
- Help ensure retailer standards and customer requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records and technical systems.

About You
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing, technical, or quality environment is desirable.
- Good understanding of food safety and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across departments.
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel.
- Positive, proactive, and keen to develop within a technical career.
