What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Assistant to join our East Midlands team from January 2027. The purpose of this role is to provide and perform general administration support using own initiative and self-motivation where necessary.

What You’ll Do As a Technical Assistant

  • Document/Drawing distribution via our document management system for the Engineering and Architectural team
  • Assisting the Technical Coordinators with Admin elements of their roles (applications for postal addresses, Robust Details, SAPs, Heating Designs, etc)
  • Produce Conveyance Plans on a weekly bases (AutoCAD). Training can be provided.
  • Assist in secretarial duties for the company, including audio typing, word processing and the use of excel spreadsheets
  • Creating Consultant Appointment documents and orders appointments
  • Monitoring, recording and updating Consultants PI Insurance details

What experience do I need?

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience within an office environment
  • Computer literate with experience of a number of different packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • AutoCAD (Drawing software) – Training can be given.
  • Ability to be well organised, self-motivated with high attention to detail
