Technical Assistant (Admin) – 4 Month Contract
Location: Thrapston
Rate: £19.11 per hour (Umbrella)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week
Contract: Temporary (4 Months, with possible extension)
Pay: Bi-weekly
Summary
This temporary 4-month contract role, with the possibility of extension, involves providing essential administrative support through high-volume, repetitive data processing tasks. The position is crucial for ensuring accurate data entry, effective document management, and supporting the team with vital administrative duties in a busy and demanding environment.
Responsibilities
Data Entry & Systems
- Accurately input data into the NNC computer system
- Transfer and update information across systems as needed
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail

Document Management
- Scan and upload documents to internal systems
- Maintain organized and accessible digital records
- Ensure efficient processing of documentation
Administrative Support
- Manage emails and assist with basic queries
- Support the wider team with daily administrative duties
- Contribute to smooth operational processes
Requirements
Knowledge
- Basic understanding of administrative processes
- Awareness of data handling and confidentiality
Experience
- Essential: Previous experience in an administrative or data entry role; handling repetitive tasks with high accuracy
- Desirable: Experience using the Idox Uniform system; experience within a local authority or similar environment
