The Technical Assistant ensures all products are packed and checked to comply with food safety standards, supporting the Technical department in maintaining product consistency and managing customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Queries
- Handle the technical inbox and respond to queries
- Maintain and manage non-conformances
- Manage complaints via email and customer portals
- Send Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to customers

Contract Packing
- Maintain contract jobs and collate outturns, cross-checking against production records
Supplier & Product Compliance
- Maintain supplier approval records
- Manage shelf-life extensions, updating records accordingly
- Assist with writing and amending specifications
- Send samples for micro testing to external laboratories

Audits & Site Checks
- Carry out internal audits, glass audits, hygiene audits and environmental swabbing.
