About Illustra
Illustra is an AI-powered learning platform built to help students turn rough notes into clearer, more useful study material.
Ahead of our wider launch, we’re opening our Alpha Testing Programme to students who want early access and the opportunity to help shape the product.
About the Role
As an Illustra Technical Associate, you’ll get early access to Illustra and complete a short set of structured testing tasks.
You’ll use the platform as a normal student would — trying its features, seeing what works, spotting what doesn’t, and giving us honest feedback on your experience.
No coding, computer science or technical experience is required.

What You’ll Do
- Test Illustra before wider release
- Complete a short set of guided testing tasks
- Explore different features across the platform
- Identify bugs, confusing experiences or areas for improvement
- Share honest feedback with the Illustra team
What You’ll Get
Once you successfully complete the programme, you’ll receive an official Illustra Technical Associate Certificate recognising your contribution to the testing and development of the platform.
You can add your experience to your LinkedIn, CV or future applications.
You’ll also gain exposure to product testing, user experience, AI and education technology, and the development of an early-stage startup.

Who We’re Looking For
No previous experience is needed.
We’re looking for students who are curious, willing to try something new, and able to give genuine feedback.
Whether you’re at sixth form, college or university, if you use technology to study, we want to hear what you think.
