Hays are now looking for an SC Cleared Technical Assurance Lead for one of our local clients:
Up to £675 p/d Outside IR35
12 Month Contract
2 Days p/w in Reading, the rest is WFH
Candidates must hold current SC Clearance
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Digital Assurance Lead to shape and enhance the client's digital assurance capability. You will define the assurance approach for a major programme, provide independent technical assurance, and help establish the strategic baseline required to support ongoing digital maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and mature the client's digital assurance capability.
- Create and maintain the programme's assurance strategy and delivery plan.
- Lead assurance activities across programme capabilities, including design reviews and testing events.
- Provide clear, evidence-based assurance findings and recommendations.
- Produce strategic technical and assurance documentation to establish and maintain the programme baseline.

Essential Requirements
- Active SC clearance as a minimum
- Proven experience developing assurance strategies and assurance plans within Defence or Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments.
- Experience leading assurance activities across complex programmes.
- Strong technical documentation and report-writing skills, including strategic assurance and baseline artefacts.
