Job title: Technical Author

Pay rate: £24.42 per hour
Location: Preston
Hybrid/Remote Working: On site
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Role information:
- Provision of technical authorising expertise / generation or updates to plant operating instructions to the site standard.
- Provide direct support to uranium recovery management team.
- Provision of technical information, checking validity and records within appropriate guidelines.
- Provides guidance and support to trainers / assessors.
- Complies with legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures applicable to the role.
- Complete internal audits / validation of instructions & adherence.

Qualifications/Experience Required
- Experience in generation of operating or maintenance instructions is essential.
- Familiarisation with risk assessment / managing safety is desirable.
- Experience working within a high hazard / chemical industry is desirable.
